Medical Office Building & Parking Lot Improvements

Sturdy Memorial Hospital is a 149-bed acute care community hospital serving Attleboro and surrounding Massachusetts and Rhode Island communities. Founded in 1913, Sturdy Memorial has been dedicated to providing high-quality, cost-efficient care via a broad range of diagnostic, inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services for over a century. The hospital also strives to ensure that high-quality primary and specialty care is accessible to area residents while coordinating with other healthcare providers to avoid duplication of services.

Redgate was selected to manage the Medical Office Building project’s permitting, design, and construction processes. The three-story building will be fit-out and have a connecting bridge to the existing hospital. This expansion requires extensive coordination, including the relocation of an existing oxygen tank and parking and underground utility works in the area of the new MOB. The project also necessitates constructing new surface parking lots south and west of the main hospital, including demolition and site mitigation. Currently scheduled to open in 2025, the MOB will include outpatient cardiology, gastroenterology, urology, pain management, and infusion.
