2251 Charles Drive is a 51-unit vintage apartment complex in Raleigh, North Carolina, close to the 440 Beltline and Glenwood Avenue, the main corridor between Raleigh and Durham. Redgate recently purchased the property with plans to redevelop it into a 330-unit fully-amenitized multifamily. Redgate is currently progressing through Entitlements and design targeting a Q4 2023 ground-breaking. The building will also consist of a 2,500 SF retail space located adjacent to the amenity space and will likely attract a neighborhood coffee shop or small café. Outdoor amenities include a large, elevated courtyard space comprised of active and passive landscaped areas and a pool.
